John 19 vs. 17-18: 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
After he was beaten, scourged, slapped and forced to wear a crown of thorns, Jesus was forced to carry the Cross and he was so much burdened by this that at a stage h
e could no longer carry it and some one else had to assist him.
The cross is the symbol of salvation. Jesus was assisted by a passer by to carry the cross Calvary. Even today, workers are still needed in the vineyard to spread the good news to all the ends of the earth.
Are you willing to make yourself available to carry the cross of Jesus?
